Up the Wall 2009
An adventure in sound and light
2009's Up the Wall was inspired by the decline and fall of the Roman Empire…
Over two evenings in October over 4,000 people embarked on a twilight promenade through Chester's Roman Garden and along the ancient city wall. Along the way they discovered a rich and vivid journey and witnessed the work of over 25 international artists. Highlights included architectural projections, tours by Roman Soldiers, storytelling, MP3 tours, slap stick comedy, dance films, musical performances, live art and laser shows.
