WHAT THE WALLS SAW is a brand new site specific performance asking questions of what it means to be ‘whole’. Created by Grosvenor Park Young Company over three weeks, the performance fuses new writing and devised theatre to tell stories that have been kept secret within our walls.
Using actual interviews, overhead stories, and by simply watching the City as she breathes, the company have crafted a performance that promenades around the theatre and park, whilst telling the stories of people on their journey to becoming whole.
The Grosvenor Park Young Company project is an exciting opportunity for young people aged 16-24 years old from Cheshire and the surrounding areas to experience working in a professional environment.
We aim to nurture and inspire young talent by encouraging members of the local community to actively participate in the Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre. Our innovative approach to arts participation means writers, actors, directors, designers and stage managers will mentor the next generation. They will be taught the necessary skills to help them realise their aspirations and many of our previous members are now working as theatre practitioners.
Tickets are just £5 each! (£3 for under 16s and students).
