Over the last five years, Up the Wall has established itself as significant regional live art event. In 2010 we worked with over 30 artists and 4,600 people attended two evenings of performance, images, sounds and animated journeys. Up the Wall celebrates Chester’s heritage and unique features, and this year is no exception. The 2011 live art event will take place in and around Chester's Castle on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd October. Join us on an adventure into sound and light anytime between 7pm and 9pm. We are also keen to develop a year-round programme of collaborative, site-specific installation and performance art projects, which are created by encouragement, support and co-promotion with the regions artists and communities.
